Scope of Practice

The full breadth of neurosurgery
spine, brain and peripheral nerve.

A complete neurosurgical practice with one principle: a precise diagnosis first, modern technique always, and surgery only when it is genuinely the right answer.

Spine Surgery Endoscopic · Minimally Invasive
Endoscopic Spine Surgery
Transforaminal & interlaminar endoscopy (certified in New York) for faster, safer recovery.
Lumbar Microdiscectomy
Minimally invasive treatment of lumbar disc herniation — the most common cause of sciatica.
Lumbar Stenosis Decompression
Unilateral approach for bilateral decompression — a technique he has published on.
Cervical Spine (ACDF · Disc Herniation)
Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion, and decompression for cervical radiculomyelopathy.
Spinal Tumors
Resection of intradural and extradural spinal tumors, including spinal cord tumors.
Thoracolumbar Fractures
Stabilization and instrumented fixation of traumatic spine fractures.
Cranial Neurosurgery Brain & Skull Base
Brain Tumors & Meningioma
Microsurgical resection of brain tumors, including meningioma and glioma.
Pituitary Tumors
Treatment of pituitary adenomas and other sellar lesions.
Cerebral Aneurysms
Surgical and endovascular management of cerebral aneurysms.
Subdural & Epidural Hematoma
Urgent evacuation of intracranial hematomas after trauma or bleeding.
Hydrocephalus
Shunting and CSF diversion for hydrocephalus in adults and children.
Peripheral Nerve & Functional Sub-Specialty Expertise
Carpal Tunnel & Peripheral Nerve
Open carpal tunnel release and peripheral nerve surgery — the subject of his published series and a national congress section he has chaired.
Epilepsy Surgery
A long academic background in epilepsy surgery, including corpus callosotomy — trained at the University of Toronto.
A diagnosis-first practice. Many patients who arrive expecting surgery do not need it. The first goal of every consultation is an accurate diagnosis — and, when surgery is the answer, choosing the least invasive technique that fully resolves the problem.
